COM: Rupee down to 49.038per dollar in early trade
The rupee continued to trade in the negative territory in morning trade Tuesday as local and other Asian bourses weakened further raising concerns of more foreign fund outflows.
The partially convertible rupee depreciated by 21 paise to 49.03 against the dollar compared with Monday’s close of 48.82/83.
Dollar’s strength against other rival currencies also had some impact on the domestic currency.
