European shares fell again on Tuesday, with financials under pressure as HSBC Holdings shares fell 1.5% and Aegon shares declined 4.7%. Elsewhere, shares in French cosmetics giant L'Oreal declined 2.2% after reporting annual results. Overall, the German DAX 30 index fell 1.9% to 4,284.90, the French CAC-40 index lost 1.3% to 2,923.50 and the U.K. FTSE 100 index lost 0.9% to 4,099.09.
