Prices of nickel and tin declined in a mixed non-ferrous metal market here today in the absence of demand from industrial users while brass, zinc, lead and copper moved up due to good industrial buying support.
Nickel fell by Rs 15 per kilo to Rs 640 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 655 and tin also moved down by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 700 as against Rs 705 previously.
However, brass utensils scrap rose by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 167, zinc by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 80 and lead by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 88.
Copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap and brass sheets cutting also ended slightly higher by a rupee per kilo to Rs 213, Rs 201 and Rs 170 respectively.
