MW: Stock futures trim losses after retail sales, jobs data
U.S. stock futures pared their losses Thursday after better-than-forecast retail sales data and jobless claims that showed ongoing weakness in employment. Futures for the Dow Jones Industiral Average were off 8 points at 6,906. Those for the S&P 500 were off 1.1 points at 719.4, and Nasdaq 100 futures were off four points at 1,121.00.
