* Trading company Riddhi Siddhi Bullion has inked a deal with the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange to launch a spot exchange for precious metals, director Prithviraj Kothari said.
The exchange would be known as NCDEX Bullion and is likely to be launched within a month.

* India's coconut output is set to rise sharply due to higher productivity, and may place the country as the top producer ahead of Indonesia and Philippines.
* A fall in coffee output in Vietnam, Columbia and India will drag down estimated global production by 5.6 million bags for the crop year 2008/09, a top official with the International Coffee Organsiation (ICO), said in a statement.
