MW: U.S. stock futures extend rise after jobless claims count
U.S. stock futures on Thursday added to early gains after the government reported lower-than-expected weekly jobless claims. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 37 points to 7,480. Those for the S&P 500 climbed 4.8 points to 796.40, while Nasdaq 100 futures ) added 5 points to 1,217.75.
