IND: Further fall in metal prices on lower global cues
Mumbai , Mar 25 Prices of copper, nickel, tin, zinc, lead and aluminium moved down further on the non-ferrous metal market here today due to lack of demand from industrial users coupled with lower global advices.
Brass recovered on fresh industrial support.
Copper utensils scrap declined by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 221 from Rs 225 previously.
Copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper sheets cutting fell by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 238, Rs 236 and Rs 233 respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper wire bar, zinc, tin and nickel moved down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 241, Rs 269, Rs 88, Rs 678 and Rs 645 respectively.
Aluminium utensils scrap and lead also ended slightly lower by a rupee per kilo to Rs 79 and Rs 89 respectively.
However, brass utensils scrap moved up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 189 and brass sheets cutting also edged up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 191.
