RTRS: Dollar up vs yen, dips vs euro after US jobs data
The dollar rose above 100 yen and gave up gains against the euro on Friday after data showed the U.S. economy shed more jobs last month, pushing the unemployment rate to 8.5 percent.
The dollar rose to 100.23 yen from around 99.90 yen after data showed the economy lost 663,000 jobs in March, a touch above the 650,000 economists had expected.
The euro moved to $1.3470 , little changed on the day, from around $1.3440 before the data.
