MY: Commodity market opens negative
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), MCXCOMDEX started on a negative note after a rise of 0.15% on Saturday. It is currently trading lower by 5.77 points, or 0.28%, at 2,075.20 at 10.02 a.m. after opening at 2,080.68.

Other index like MCXMETAL is trading downward by 5.16 points, or 0.21%, at 2,462.64 after opening at 2,467.05. MCXENERGY is trading down by 19.73 points, or 1.01%, at 1,933.45 after opening at 1,951.80. Meanwhile, MCXAGRI is trading up 19.77 points, or 1.00%, at 1,998.85 after opening at 1,992.41.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the FUTEXAGRI is trading up 11.37 points at 2,201.25, while NCDEXAGRI is trading down 1.77 points at 2,146.15.

Leaders at the MCX are Potato - June contract, (2.92%) with open interest of 593, Potato - May contract, (2.52%) with open interest of 793, Refined Soy Oil - May contract, (0.50%) with open interest of 957, Aluminium - April contract, (0.28%) with open interest of 1,203, and Silver M - June contract, (0.12%) with open interest of 4,028.

Laggards at the MCX are COPPER1KG - August contract, (1.89%) with open interest of 593, Zinc - April contract, (1.24%) with open interest of 793, Crude oil - June contract, (1.17%) with open interest of 957, Crude oil - May contract, (1.14%) with open interest of 1,203, and COPPER1KG - April contract, (0.99%) with open interest of 4,028.

Gainers at the NCDEX are Gur - November contract, (4.06%) with open interest of 1,220, Gur - September contract, (4%) with open interest of 6,180, Soyabean - July contract, (4%) with open interest of 19,090, Guar Seeds - October contract, (3.95%) with open interest of 60, and Gur - July contract, (3.95%) with open interest of 8,010.

Laggards at the NCDEX are Potato - May contract, (4.05%) with open interest of 9,330, Potato - June contract, (4.05%) with open interest of 5,280, Potato - August contract, (3.97%) with open interest of 315, Potato - July contract, (3.97%) with open interest of 2,130, and Silver 5 Kgs - May contract, (3.28%) with open interest of 150.
