New Delhi, May 1 Nickel prices opened higher by around three per cent on the Multi Commodity Exchange today on speculative buying by traders in tandem with higher London Metal Exchange advices.
At 1730 hours, the nickel for most active May-month contract rose by 2.84 per cent to Rs583 per kilo one the MCX, clocking a trading volume of 1076 lots.
June month contract also found fresh support and traded higher by 2.78 per cent at Rs58800 per kilo The contract showed the trading volume of 23 lots.
