MS: MCXAGRI closes on positive note
 
Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), MCXAGRI ended the day at 2,018.49 up 4.05 points, or 0.20%, after opening at 2,014.08.

MCXCOMDEX is trading up by 6.79 points, or 0.32%, at 2,118.13 after opening at 2,110.54. (05.00 p.m.). Other index like MCXMETAL is trading upward by 18.81 points, or 0.76%, at 2,498.06 after opening at 2,477.17. Meanwhile, MCXENERGY is trading down by 3.17 points, or 0.16%, at 1,999.84 after opening at 2,010.84.

At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange (NCDEX), the FUTEXAGRI is trading down 5.65 points at 2,206.14 and NCDEXAGRI is trading higher by 46.39 points at 2,188.80.

Gainers at the MCX were Jute - August contract, (3%) with open interest of 1, COPPER1KG - November contract, (2.86%) with open interest of 12, Lead - May contract, (2.42%) with open interest of 2,075, Lead - June contract, (2.41%) with open interest of 80, and Nickel - June contract, (2.06%) with open interest of 728.

Losers at the MCX were Gold - December contract, (1.72%) with open interest of 1, Natural gas - May contract, (1.07%) with open interest of 12, Natural gas - June contract, (0.97%) with open interest of 2,075, Cardamom - July contract, (0.91%) with open interest of 80, and Natural gas - July contract, (0.77%) with open interest of 728.

Leaders at the NCDEX were Turmeric - July contract, (3.20%) with open interest of 2,730, V-797 Kapas - February contract, (3.20%) with open interest of 2,730, Soyabean - July contract, (3.12%) with open interest of 24,670, Soyabean - August contract, (2.67%) with open interest of 7,230, and Soyabean - June contract, (2.65%) with open interest of 45,200.

Losers at the NCDEX were Silver 5 Kgs - June contract, (3.83%) with open interest of 5, Black Pepper - October contract, (3%) with open interest of 13, Guar Gum - September contract, (2.98%) with open interest of 55, Gram - September contract, (2.91%) with open interest of 680, and Gur - July contract, (2.79%) with open interest of 8,040.
