RTRS: India copper may rise on New York gains; gold seen up
Indian copper futures are expected to open higher on Tuesday, tracking overnight gains in New York, falling inventory and rise in cancelled warrents, analysts said.
The benchmark June contract MCCM9 on the Multi Commodity Exchange, (MCX) closed up 0.81 percent at 236.15 rupees per kg in the previous session.
The market is expected to open up at about 238-239 rupees.
GOLD:
Futures are likely to open up on Tuesday supported by weak dollar, analysts said.
The benchmark June contract MAUM9 closed up nearly 1 percent at 14,433 rupees per 10 grams in the last session.
Overseas gold rose on Tuesday, holding above $900 an ounce, as a weaker U.S. dollar and firm oil prices lured investors back into the metal. [ID:nSP474775]
