Crude oil futures remained higher on Friday, but didn't add on to early gains, after the Labor Department said the U.S. economy lost 539,000 jobs in April, less than economists expected. Crude oil for June delivery gained $1.38, or 2.4%, at $58.08 a barrel. Ahead of the report it traded at $58.12 a barrel. The report also said the unemployment rates rose to 8.9% from 8.5%, matching forecasts. The previous two month's losses were revised higher.
