BLBG: Canada’s Dollar Touches Strongest Level in More Than Six Months
Canada’s dollar appreciated to the highest level since Nov. 5, boosted by gains in U.S. stock-index futures.
The Canadian currency rose as much as 0.7 percent to C$1.1475 per U.S. dollar. It traded at C$1.1482 at 9:23 a.m. in Toronto, from C$1.1558 yesterday. It touched $1.1464 on Nov. 5. One Canadian dollar buys 87.09 U.S. cents.
