BLBG: Canada’s Dollar Climbs for 5th Day to Highest Since October
Canada’s dollar appreciated for a fifth straight day against its U.S. counterpart to the highest level since Oct. 9.
The Canadian currency strengthened as much as 1 percent to C$1.1253 per U.S. dollar and traded at C$1.1280 at 7:15 a.m. in Toronto, compared with C$1.1374 yesterday. One Canadian dollar buys 88.65 U.S. cents.
