Metal prices firmed up on the non-ferrous metal market here today on good industrial demand following higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).
Nickel shot up by Rs 28 per kilo to Rs 723 from previous closing level of Rs 695 and tin by Rs 9 per kilo to Rs 757 as against Rs 748 yesterday.
Copper cable scrap, copper armiture, copper wire bar and copper sheets cutting rose by Rs 3 per kilo each to Rs 269, Rs 264, Rs 297 and Rs 262 respectively.
Copper scrap heavy and brass sheets cutting moved up by Rs 2 each to Rs 266 and Rs 201 respectively.
Copper utensils scrap also ended slightly higher by a rupee per kilo to Rs 251 as against 250 previously.
