IND: Sensex off day’s high
 
At 14:39pm (IST), Sensex was up 195 points at 14,306 and the NSE Nifty was up 54 points at 4,333.
Markets have slipped sharply in the late trades on the back of selling witnessed in the Pharma, FMCG and IT stocks. Sentiment has further dampened tracking a weak start to the European markets. The FTSE, DAX and the CAC index have slipped by 1.5% each.

Among the 30-components of the Sensex 24 are in the green and only 6 were in the negative terrain. Reliance Industries, Bharti, HDFC, L&T, ICICI Bank and SBI are among the top gainers. Among the major laggards were, Reliance Infra, Tata Motors, RCom and Wipro.

At 2:40 pm (IST), the BSE 30-share Sensex was up 195 points at 14,306 and the NSE Nifty was up 54 points at 4,333.
