ET: Metal prices continue to rule firm on higher global advices
Mumbai , June 2 Prices of nickel, copper, brass, zinc and aluminium continued to rule firm on the non-ferrous metal market here today following sustained industrial demand coupled with firm global advices.
While, lead eased on lack of industrial buying support.
Nickel rose by Rs 8 per kilo to Rs 733 from yesterday&aposs closing level of Rs 725 and brass sheets cutting by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 208 as against Rs 203 previously.
Copper sheets cutting and brass utensils scrap firmed up by Rs 4 per kilo to Rs 265 and Rs 205 respectively.
Tin moved up by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 783 and copper armiture by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 268.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper wire bar, aluminium utensils scrap and zinc also ended higher by a rupee per kilo to Rs 273, Rs 270, Rs 301, Rs 74 and 93 respectively.
However, lead moved down by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 88 from Rs 90 previously.
