LONDON (AP) - The U.S. dollar was mostly higher against other currencies in European trading Monday. Gold fell. The euro traded at US$1.4032, down from US$1.4077 late Friday in New York. Other dollar rates: _95.40 Japanese yen, up from 95.18 _1.089 Swiss francs, up from 1.0818 _1.1534 Canadian dollars, up from 1.1524 The British pound was quoted at US$1.653, unchanged from Friday.
