Mumbai , July 1 Nickel prices continued to trade higher in a mixed non-ferrous metal market here today due to good industrial demand amidst higher advices from London Metal Exchange (LME).
Elsewhere, tin and brass also ruled firm on better demand from industrial users.
While, copper declined owing to lack of industrial buying support.
Nickel rose by Rs 5 per kilo to Rs 800 from yesterday&aposs closing level of Rs 795 and Tin by Rs 3 per kilo to Rs 850.
Brass sheets cutting also looked up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 202.
However, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture and copper sheets cutting moved down by Rs 2 per kilo each to Rs 272, Rs 268 and Rs 264 respectively.
Copper cable scrap, copper utensils scrap and copper wire bar eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 276, Rs 255 and Rs 304.
