Mumbai , July 10 Tin and nickel prices fell sharply in a narrowly mixed non-ferrous metal market here today in the absence of industrial demand amid weakening trend in London Metal Exchange (LME).
Elsewhere, copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting also eased on lack of buying support.
While, zinc and copper scrap heavy edged up on mild demand from consuming industries.
Tin declined by Rs 20 per kilo to Rs 820 from yesterday&aposs closing level of Rs 840 and nickel by Rs 12 per kilo to Rs 800 from Rs 812.
Copper sheets cutting and brass sheets cutting also eased by a rupee per kilo each to Rs 261 and Rs 198 respectively.
However, zinc moved up by Rs 2 per kilo to Rs 93 and copper scrap heavy also looked up by a rupee per kilo to Rs 269.
