BLBG: U.K. Pound Extends Gains Against Dollar, Climbs 0.5% to $1.6412 |

July 20 (Bloomberg) -- The pound extended gains against the dollar, strengthening 0.5 percent to $1.6412 as of 7:20 a.m. in London.
The British currency was little changed versus the euro, trading at 86.30 pence, from 86.33 pence per euro on July 17.
