New Delhi, July 20 Zinc futures today extended gains and added another 0.76 per cent on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) largely in tandem with strong trend in base metals overseas, supported by signs of recovery in the global economy.
At MCX, zinc for delivery in September month contract rose 0.76 per cent higher at Rs 79.25 per kg in a turnover of 55 lots, while August month contract rose 0.71 per cent at Rs 747.60 per kg in a turnover of 1,470 lots.
