MW: Stock futures still higher after jobless claims

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- A rise in weekly jobless claims to 554,000 didn't put much of a damper on U.S. stock futures, with the S&P 500 contract up 4.4 points to 953.80 and Nasdaq 100 futures up 4.5 points to 1,561.00. Investors welcomed results from AT&T, 3M, eBay and Ford Motor Co., all of which traded higher in pre-market trade.
