MW: Treasury yields stay higher after housing data

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury yields added to their gains Thursday after data showing that U.S. June existing home sales rose for a third straight month. Ten-year note yields, which move inversely to prices, were up 5 basis points to 3.601%. Yields rose earlier, as U.S. stocks posted strong gains, reducing the appeal of government debt.
