RTRS: CANADA STOCKS-TSX opens lower as commodities fall
TORONTO, July 24 (Reuters) - Toronto's main stock index was
slightly lower at the open on Friday as commodities shares
dragged on the resource-heavy index.
The S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE dropped 27.91 points,
or 0.3 percent, to 10,647.77 at the open. All of the TSX's 10
subindexes were lower, led by a 0.38 percent drop in the
mining-laden materials sector.
