BR: Natural Gas Down Sharply, Crude Modestly Higher

[BRIEFING.COM] Sept crude is back near the flat line after moving into negative territory, hitting recent lows of $67.68 per barrel. Currently, crude is trading 0.1% higher at $67.12 per barrel.
August natural gas remains lower and is trading with little volatility, currently down 2.7% at $3.756.
The dollar is modestly lower this morning, providing strength in precious metals. August gold is modestly higher, up 0.1% to $953.50 per ounce, while Sept silver is 1% higher at $14.015 per ounce.
