Gasoline prices in Massachusetts leveled off this week after falling for four straight periods, according to a new report from AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s July 27 survey of prices in Massachusetts found that self-serve, regular unleaded gas averaged $2.49 per gallon, the same price as the prior week and down 14 cents during the last five weeks.
The current price is one cent below the national average for self-serve unleaded of $2.50 and is $1.46 less than the $3.95 per gallon found this time one year ago, per the AAA report.
