Average market prices for apartments in multi-story buildings in Yerevan have gone down by 6.0% in the second trimester of 2009 by the count of 1 square meter.
However, according to information from the state real estate cadastre committee, "if international exchange rates, particularly the 20% devaluation of the US dollar is taken into account and estimations are done according to prices, in the second trimester of 2009, average market prices for apartments in multi-story buildings in Yerevan by the count of one square meter in the second trimester of 2009 will go down by 17.4% compared to the first trimester in 2009."
There were 37,151 real estate sales in the second trimester of 2009. That number has increased by 30.2% compared to the first trimester of 2009 and has gone down by 10.5% compared to the third trimester of 2008.
There have been 761 apartments sold in the regions in the second trimester of 2009. That number has increased by 13.4% in the first trimester of 2009 and has gone down by 43.3% compared to the second trimester of 2008.
