[BRIEFING.COM] Ahead of this week's inventory data, Sept crude oil continued trading in negative territory. Following inventory data, which showed a build of 5.15 mln barrels (vs. consensus of a draw 1.5 mln), crude fell to fresh lows of $64.60 per barrel and is currently down 4.0% at $64.56 per barrel.
August natural gas also remains in negative territory, and pushed to fresh lows. Currently, natural gas is trading 2.4% lower at $3.45.
The dollar is trading higher, adding further price pressure on precious metals. Currently, August gold and Sept are trading near fresh lows of $929.7 per ounce and $13.455 per ounce, respectively. Gold is currently 0.8% lower at $930.9 per ounce, while silver is 1.7% lower at $13.505 per ounce.
