NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures extended their decline on Tuesday after data showed that pending sales of existing homes rose in June for the fifth straight month, the longest streak of gains since 2003. Crude for September delivery fell 60 cents to $70.98 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex.
