NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Oil futures turned higher Tuesday in choppy trading, as U.S. stocks pared their early declines. Crude for September delivery was last up 2 cents to $71.60 a barrel in electronic trading on Globex. Earlier, the contract hit an intraday low of $70.16 a barrel.
