FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Spot gold peaked at $1161.84 in the past hour, only to settle back down around the $1158 level. Currently the bullion is trading at $1157.15, a 0.14% gain on the day.
In related news, the other precious metals are for the most part making gains as well. Spot palladium and silver are both in the green, with the former up 1.50% and the ladder 0.63%. Spot platinum is maintaining flat with a 0.03% drop so far.
