Bloomberg News seeks an experienced real-time financial news reporter to cover crude oil markets from London.
The reporter will be responsible for reporting stories about crude oil markets across north west Europe, North Africa and other regions, under constant deadline pressure.
The role will also involve analysis of crude derviatives markets and supply and demand fundamentals.
The reporter may also be required to write about other energy topics such as oil products markets, renewable energy, biofuels, gas, power and energy company news, as needed.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of reporting and breaking news for a financial newspaper or news service. The successful candidate will work within a team of energy reporters and editors in London, covering the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
Qualifications
Journalism experience is essential.
Experience of working in a real-time news environment in desirable.
Experience of covering energy markets is essential.
Foreign language skills would be an asset.
