NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- U.S. stocks slumped Thursday as investors digested another round of earnings. "The tech sector is kind of weak," said Kevin Kruszenski, pointing to disappointing reports from eBay Inc. (EBAY 24.27, -2.02, -7.68%) and Nokia Inc. (NOK 12.84, -2.11, -14.10%) Wall Street is not overly concerned about Greece's debt troubles, said Kruszenski. "Greece doesn't have the size of the economy of the state of California. We're not talking about a big country or even a big state going under." The Dow Jones Industrial Average (INDU 11,057, -67.56, -0.61%) was off 70.89 points at 11,054.03. The S&P 500 Index (SPX 1,197, -8.97, -0.74%) fell 8.91 points to 1,197.03. The Nasdaq Composite (COMP 2,490, -14.17, -0.57%) fell 13.4 points to 2,491.47. |
