NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Energy stocks skyrocketed in early action on Monday, with natural gas stocks leading the sector as Wall Street cheered the European Central Bank's nearly $1 trillion bailout package. The NYSE Arca Oil Index (XOI 1,038, +36.72, +3.67%) rose 4.2% to 1,043. The NYSE Arca Natural Gas Index (XNG 533.43, +20.56, +4.01%) rose 4.6% to 537. Philadelphia Oil Service Index (OSX 195.12, +7.35, +3.91%) jumped 4% to 195. Crude futures jumped $2.26 to $77.37.
