MW: Nat gas prices higher following storage report

By Claudia Assis
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Natural-gas futures reversed course to turn higher Thursday after a government report showed a smaller-than-expected increase in natural gas in storage. Natural gas for June delivery, the most active contract, added 6 cents, or 1.5%, to $4.34 per million British thermal units. The Energy Information Admistration reported an increase of 94 billion cubic feet of natural gas in storage in the week ended May 7. Analysts polled by Platts expected an increase of 100 to 104 billion cubic feet in natural-gas storage.
