TORONTO - The Canadian dollar opened at 95.51 cents US, up 0.27 of a cent from Thursday's close.
The U.S. dollar stood at C$1.0470, down 0.30 of a cent.
Pound sterling was worth C$1.5254, down 0.63 of a cent and US$1.4569, down 0.19 of a cent.
The euro was worth C$1.2973, down 0.08 of a cent.
