The prices of oil on world commodity exchanges was growing Monday morning as the dollar began losing ground against other currencies.
The price of a July futures contract for WTI light sweet crude in electronic trading on Nymex was up 71 cents to $74.68 a barrel by 6:55 Moscow time. The price of a July futures contract for North Sea Brent blend was up 67 cents to $74.69 in London.
Oil prices slid on Friday, May 28. July WTI contracts were down 58 cents to $73.97 a barrel, while July Brent contracts were down 64 cents to $74.02.
