US DATA: Apr wholesale inventories +0.4%, sales +0.7%, inv/sales ratio at record low 1.13 vs 1.14 in Mar and 1.36 a year ago. Petro inv +6.9%, but sales -3.5%, petro inv/sales at record high 0.53. Wholesale auto inv -0.6%, while sales +1.8%. Factory inv already reported +0.5% for Apr, so business inv should be be up in the month, barring a drop in retail inv when that report is released Friday.
