(RTTNews) - The British pound ticked higher against its Japanese rival in New York session on Monday. The pound rose to a 5-day high of 135.03 against the yen at 11:05 am ET. The pound-yen pair, which was worth 134.56 at last week close, is now worth 134.83. On the upside, the pound may target around the 136.10 level.
