MW: Oil edges lower on worries about U.S. recovery

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Oil prices edged lower on Monday as expectations of a slowdown in U.S. economic growth in the second quarter weighed on sentiment. The lapse continues a mild retreat from a late-week rally that had futures hitting three-week highs on Thursday. Crude futures for September delivery were down 60 cents at $78.38 a barrel in electronic trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
