RTRS: Dollar extends gains vs yen after US housing data
July 27 (Reuters) - The dollar extended gains versus the Japanese yen on Tuesday after a report showed U.S. single-family home prices rose more than expected in May, according to the Standard & Poor's/Case Shiller home price indexes. For details, see [ID:nNLLRIE6A8]
The dollar was last up almost 1 percent at a session high of 87.74 yen JPY=, from 87.47 yen before the release.
