MW: Crude oil waffles as stocks offer no direction

SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Crude-oil futures seesawed Tuesday as stocks posted anemic gains and offered little direction. Crude oil for September delivery most recently lost 2 cents to $79 a barrel.
