RTRS: Platinum falls more than 2 pct on weak equities
SINGAPORE, Aug 12 (Reuters) - Platinum dropped more than 2 percent on Thursday, while sister metal palladium fell around 4 percent as declines in equities and worries about the health of the global economy spurred selling. Japan's Nikkei stock average fell 2 percent after three major Wall Street indexes on Wednesday posted their worst percentage drops since July 16. [.T].
