NEW YORK, Aug. 20 (UPI) -- Crude oil prices fell in New York Friday, tumbling below $74 a barrel on higher inventories.
Light, sweet crude oil on the New York Mercantile Exchange, fell $1.01 to $73.76 per barrel.
Henry Hub natural gas prices lost 0.022 cents to $4.183 per million British thermal units.
No. 2 New York Harbor heating oil for September delivery fell 0.0182 cents to $1.9825 per gallon. Reformulated gasoline blendstock prices fell 0.0167 cents to $1.9120 per gallon.
At the pump, the national average price for unleaded regular gasoline was $2.724 per gallon compared to $2.730 Thursday, AAA's Fuel Gauge Report said.
