SH: U.S. Stock Futures Mixed; Wall Street Digests Falling Dollar, Rising Gold

Good morning! The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) is headed for an opening gain of about 8 points, while the S&P 500 Index (SPX) is set to fall nearly 2 points. Wall Street is treading cautiously this morning amid concerns about the falling U.S. dollar, which has steadily pulled back to levels seen prior to the Bank of Japan's intervention in the currencies market. As a result, commodities are grabbing headlines, with gold trading above $1,300 an ounce, and crude futures edging higher after the American Petroleum Institute reported a drop in U.S. petroleum supplies.

If you checked in with Opening View this morning, you know that the DJIA should find support at 10,750 again, with resistance looming overhead at 10,900. The SPX, meanwhile, maintains support at 1,135, while the 1,150 level could remain a roadblock for the index.
