(RTTNews) - The Swiss franc traded lower against major currencies in New York mid-morning deals on Thursday. The franc dropped to new multi-week low of 1.5924 against the British pound and nearly a 2-week low of 1.3537 versus the euro by about 10:30 am ET, compared to yesterday's closing value of 1.5775 and 1.3416, respectively.
The franc that hit a 2-day high of 84.58 versus the Japanese yen at about 7:00 am ET, edged down and currently trading near 84.14 today.
Against its US counterpart, the Swiss currency also traded lower in today's New York morning, after hitting a 2-day high of 0.9858 in previous session. At 10:30 am ET, the franc slipped to 0.9958 versus the greenback, compared to 0.9916 hit late New York Wednesday.
