WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) - U.S. import prices climbed 1.4% in February owing to 3.7% increase in petroleum costs, the Labor Department reported Tuesday. Prices for nonfuel imports rose a lesser 0.6%. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had expected import prices to rise 1.1% in February following a downwardly revised 1.3% increase in January.
