MW: Treasurys fall more; 10-yr yields up to 3.35%

By Deborah Levine

NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Treasury prices extended a decline on Monday, pushing yields up, as a report showed resales of U.S. homes in February fell to a 4.88 million pace in February, though January's sales rate was revised higher. Also, the Treasury Department announced it would begin selling down its portfolio of mortgage-backed securities by about $10 billion a month. Yields on 10-year notes (UST10Y 3.34, +0.07, +2.17%) , which move inversely to prices, rose 7 basis points to 3.35%.
